Our programs to reduce energy consumption have already cut our net greenhouse gas emissions at our major U.S. facilities by 33 percent since 1998. We have active recycling programs in our major facilities, hybrid security vehicles and ongoing initiatives to reduce paper consumption. We continue to seek ways to further reduce our environmental footprint.
Prudential Financial is also a major investor in alternative sources of energy, especially wind power. In addition, we support environmental education initiatives and employees' environmental volunteer activities.
We are committed to building upon these activities through a continued focus on programs that reduce our environmental impact, improve the lives of people in the communities in which we live and work, and encourage our employees to reduce energy consumption and recycle.

As an organization focused on good citizenship, sponsoring the PSEG Global Green Expo's supports our goal of raising awareness of environmental issues. We are pleased to present key-note speaker Jeff Corwin, one of the world's best-known conservationists, and to provide Turtle Back Zoo, Liberty Science Center and The Greater Newark Conservancy, an opportunity to share the outstanding work they do in our community.
