Gina Rodolico, CEO of E+Co

Gina Rodolico is the Chief Operating Officer for E+Co, a Bloomfield, New Jersey company changing the lives of millions of people by establishing access to clean energy resources. For over a decade, E+Co has empowered local entrepreneurs in some of the poorest regions of the world by providing financial investment and business support services to companies bringing clean energy resources to their communities.
Since E+Co’s inception, Gina has worked with all of E+Co’s program areas. Before being designated COO, Gina managed E+Co’s global communications. In 2000, she established E+Co’s pioneering Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Program allowing E+Co to track its social, environmental and financial results; which is now serving as a model for other organizations.
Gina has also implemented a carbon monetization program within E+Co to market the carbon dioxide offsets produced by its enterprises. Facilitating the package and sales of these offsets as Voluntary Emissions Reductions; Gina helped establish E+Carbon, a subsidiary of E+Co.
Gina holds an MS and an MA from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Certificate of Finance from New York University. Also an active member on her daughter’s school community service committee and Brownie Troop; Gina brings her work home, most recently organizing a sneaker recycling drive so sneakers could be re-used for playground matting.
“Clean energy changes lives. With it, there is commerce, health, education and independence where before there was none,” say Gina. “The economic, environmental and social return on these investments is staggering.”
With offices in Africa, Asia and Latin America, E+Co has mobilized over $140 million for clean energy, its entrepreneurs are providing energy to over 4 million people, water to more than 60,000 people and offsetting 3.3 million tons of CO2 annually.
