About PSEG Global Green Expo 2008

The PSEG Global Green Expo 2008 was put together just for you! Come and see for yourself. Whether you are single or married, a child or a senior, a home owner or renter, biker or driver, environmentalist or gas guzzler – the Expo has exhibits, speakers and demonstrations that will make it easy for you to take the next step in creating a more sustainable earth.

Friday, April 25

If you are a Community Leader (Mayor, Town council member, Environmental commission member, Planning board member, County freeholder, etc.), in the Education Community (School Superintendent, Principal, Board of Education member, PTA, PTO, Home and School member, etc.) or are a business person (Small business owner or not), Friday is an essential day for you!

Our Government program will focus on creating more sustainable communities. Speakers such as Christa Koehler from Clean air-Cool Planet, Professor Nick Smith-Sebasto and Master Composter Gray Russell will cover everything from “how to develop green initiatives” to “community and personal composting” and more. Learn how New Jersey townships have already done award winning work and what your town or county can do as well.

Schools are the heart of any community. They are where we prepare our children for the future – but do they set an example for what we want the earth’s future to be? Hear from school administrators around the country as they tell you what they’ve done – and how they did it – to make their buildings, grounds and cafeterias earth friendly.
